I loved seeing Doug and Dad. Must have been a wonderful visit. They are two of my favorite memories from jr/sr high.
I know it's short notice, but tonight from 6:30-9:30, Mike Loveless and his newest band, Yikes!, will play at Cunningham's in Kearney. I think I'll mosey over there. Anyone that can join me would be most welcome. It will be fun.
Kathy H.--Sorry I missed your visit, I had a softball umpiring stint in Lincoln. Best wishes to you. I still remember my first kiss in sixth grade at your birthday party.
Brownie is in need of our thoughts , hopes , prayers; whatever you got. His brother Gary has suffered a serious heart attack and remains hospitalized in Omaha. Let's all pull together. Information will be shared as received.
Brownie and all the Brown family: We're thinking about and praying for Gary and hope all goes well. Please keep us posted on his progress.
Almost hate to add this, but Bocco, you were the 30,000th registered '69er to visit this website. Now that's an accomplishment. Not to mention, someone today or tomorrow will post the 5,000th message and get an all-expense paid trip to Odessa. Great suggestion TC!
On the road again reporting from the Lake View Hospital in Omaha. Just by chance my brother was brought to a hospital where they are on the cutting edge of heart care.... signs so far are good, but still waiting for more information on his improving condition. Hurry up and wait!
≈- Skid- Good thoughts and prayers to you and family. Thanks so much for making trip to bring joy and laughter to Doug and family. Looks like Mary Sue had a good time too. Please know we are all pulling for you, waiting is the toughest........
Wanted to let you know I got a wonderful surprise from Doug, right when I needed a lift. Came home from visitation for Larry's Aunt and the kitty was in peril, had gone down hill since morning. Gary rushed out with milk and we tried to get her going, she passed this AM. Don't know which of us felt worse. Went to Aunt Ruby's funeral this morning, she was the Meyer matriarch, the one who always tried to keep all family in touch with each other. Came home and went to visitation for Bob Bissell (Vicki's dad) who passed unexpectedly. Vicki class of 70 was at Riverdale reunion party. So anyway, Doug's surprise was such a blessing. Thoughts and prayers to all, hang in there, Brownie, we're with ya! Radio
Rick- Glad to hear from ya, Kathy's parties were always memorable, I got a first kiss from someone at that party too. Those were the days my friend........Radio
Randy-So sorry to hear about your brother. Sounds like he is in good hands and will hopefully continue to improve. Think Mary Sue might cheer him up a little?
Ok. We have to talk about this photo thing. When I post and have no picture, I look like a ghost! Maybe I am. Candi, can you help me out on THIS one. BTW, I did get the cow video to come alive at school. All the teachers & students walking down the hallway stopped to view & laugh.
ML--You need to go to Member Functions, Edit/Upload Photos and upload a photo. Select the photo as MASTER and it will display on your posts and email. What happened to your class photo? I guess it is possible that they changed some code and now only display what is designated as MASTER in your photos on our profile.
You could make this one your Master and it would show up. Pretty easy to do.
ML if you chose that photo I will call you Thumb-ba-lena from now on. It's those tiny shoes.
Brownie; waiting for the good news. Also what was MarySue's Last Chance at?
Girls: Brownie and Mole and I each gave hugs from you to Doug, so it's time for some paybacks. Sorry SKID, I'm first in line, then you, then Mole, then me again, ect. ect.
Like Barb said, we lost little Sabbatini, she was a cutie, stayed with her til midnight and she took some fluid again at four, but was gone at six a.m. I couldn't be a rancher.
Rick- I'm not a kiss and tell kinda gal, unless you're the Enquirer with a 6 figure offer, may consider............. I always thought you and Kathy would be together forever, in 6th grade, we thought everything was possible. Do you remember Kathy and her Aunt Sue always got matching dresses from their Grandma? Loved dancing to the 45's. Eric Clapton?
Skiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddd- Thinking and praying for ya, let us know if need anything from home. Hang tough Mountain Man!
News from homefront, with all going on forgot to let you know, we got 3 little surprise lambs, twins and single. Someone let boys in with girls not planned, and we have new babies in July. With this heat, I want to go out and tell all the sheep to take those wool coats off. We are also excited to see the wild turkey mom's out walking their chicks. Radio WUCRS signing off at 69.0. Luv,ya
