Debbie was a dear and sweet friend with a heart of gold. She was married to Rick (fat rat) Merryman. They lived in Kearney. She was an excellent artist and her greatest joy was her son, Chris. She didn't have a very long or happy life, but she made the most of things and was full of dreams. She died in a car accident.
Debbie was a good friend. She had a different sense of humor than most--saw the world like she wanted to. Maybe why her paintings were so interesting. She was talented in art. I miss her fluffed up blond hair and big blue eyes. the last time I talked to Debbie was after her son was born--I had never seen her so happy with a sparkle in her eyes. Sadly, she did not get a long time to enjoy loving and watching her son. Debbie, you are missed by many, especially those who used to pal around and make important decisions like where to go for lunch!
